Stiles’ Ontario NDP team ready to hit the ground running with new campaign leadership

TORONTO – Marit Stiles, Ontario NDP leader, has appointed Dave Clark as the party’s Campaign Director for the next provincial campaign.

Clark has had a hand in delivering progressive wins across Canada and in the United Kingdom with the UK Labour Party. He brings a wealth of experience from dozens of campaigns where he helped elect New Democrats in Scarborough, Toronto, Brampton, and in the regions of Ontario where the NDP is looking to make gains in their path to victory.

Clark also played key roles in Sadiq Khan’s historic win in the 2016 London mayoral election and Jagmeet Singh’s federal NDP leadership campaign.

Outside of politics, Clark led the City of Toronto’s groundbreaking VaxTO campaign, using election campaign style tactics to encourage millions of Torontonians to get vaccinated against COVID-19 and resulting in world-leading vaccination rates in the city.

Clark will be joining Brian Topp, chair of the party’s Election Planning Committee. Topp served as Chief-of-Staff to former Alberta Premier Rachel Notley, national campaign director to Jack Layton, and led Wab Kinew’s monumental NDP win in Manitoba last year.

Stiles’ NDP is ready to hit the ground running with a dynamic new team that has a proven track record of winning.
